Let’s borrow some live action footage from today’s trading session and show you how we sling ’em around here at TradingAnalysis.com. First we jump on the short side of GLD to get some downside exposure, as well as hedge a long TLT position. Then we get after a little NVDA earnings trade using Fib and the expected move, and then follow it up after the bell to show you the price action.
Live Trading in GLD and NVDA During Earnings
by Todd Gordon | Feb 9, 2017 | Market Updates
Very nice trades. Do you mind giving us 20 min window on the NTA because I missed out on the NVDA earning trade before the NY close today. Didn’t get enough time to jump on board.
I did booked partial profits on NFLX yesterday and still carrying 1/2 on NFLX and TLT now which both are in the money now.
Thanks Mo! During earnings trades we push it right into the close to see what jockeying / adjustments happen heading into earnings.
Todd, not sure what happened but I never received the text regarding GLD that you filled around 11:30am. Only texts that came through were NVDA at 3:52pm and fill price text at 3:58.
Shaun – this is the free public video, not the member’s video. The GLD trade was for the Selecting Ideal Option Strikes Using Fibonacci training course that I just conducted.
