“Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius—and a lot of courage—to move in the opposite direction.”
— E. F. Schumacker
Todd Gordon of TradinAnalysis.com takes you throw the key themes driving the stock market including the huge move lower in interest rates spurred from the regional bank scare, the growth trade rotation on-going, and finally yes, a long-term look at the DJIA that could see above 100,000.
- Comparison to 2000
- Yield curve normalizing – is that a good thing? Possibly back to 1982 with a sustained period of inversion?
- Growth / Value overlaid on 10 Yr Yield
- NDX 100
- 6 Figure DJIA!?

Hi Todd,
just a small one: it is Schumacher instead of Schuhmacker!
Great video.! I learned a lot, particularly the part about the yield curve-inversions:diversions.
I am an equity option guy so I don’t enough about that side of things. I will watch again over
the weekend and takes notes.
Thanks Todd from a fellow Saratoga Springs neighbor.
This gives me some relief honestly. As a 33 year old who is just now starting to accumulate a long term investment portfolio I was worried that I missed all the good stuff. Looks like these projections, if they come to fruition, will serve me quite well right around the time I’m needing the cash.
