Having market context using the Elliott Wave corrections can give you a major leg up when trading options, especially when trading credit spreads through earnings like we did in Intel. First let me know show you how and why we executed this INTC trade, and then I’ll show you our next trade in BABA for earnings next week.
Do you offer a service , we put money in an account and you manage it?
I have been wanting to trade options, I know nothing about them.
Although I am an experienced trader.
Thank you,
Hi Duane,
We run a trade signal and analysis service and do not manage money. I trade my own capita. I understand if you’re new to options and hesitant, but in our service we spell out clearly how to approach an options trade, what to buy and what to sell. In our daily trading video we give plenty of examples of how to trade options in a step-by-step manner, plus we have a lot of training courses on options.
Thanks,
Todd.
Ho-ho, what if you are wrong, and the market will fall sharply? It could’ve simply been a wave X, that’s so un-smart just what you did ! what’s going to happen to your expensive puts? hahah, they will get even more expesive, how about thousand times, and you gonna have to pay for it )
It’s amazing how many incorrect statements there are in this message. If it’s an X-wave rally overbalance compared to B-wave would have required another few days of rallying. Expensive options heading into earnings become cheaper almost 100% of the time. The trade was fixed risk as we bought a lower put. Max risk was $900 for me, which would not have been reached because that would happen if I help into Friday’s close. If you don’t have anything intelligent or helpful to post, please, move on. You’re wasting my time. Todd.
Hi Todd, I appreciate ur handling the “heckler” so to speak. I hv traded options and spreads but it’s been awhile. I appreciate that options lose their “time value” at the end and be cheaper at Friday’s close. Ur comment “which would not have been reached because that would happen if I help into Friday’s close. “, I did not fully understand, would u clarify?
Hi Tim – Thanks for the comment. If you havne’t already, please watch the member’s video recorded on 1/31 for Feb 1st were I address your question. Thanks! Todd.
Just want to say thanks for all your videos in the last month. I’ve made some of the similar trades, and done better with each one. The Intel one was the best trade I’ve ever made. I made a small options bet and a much larger purchase of the underlying stock, both of which went up substantially. Thanks, and looking forward to BABA.
Hi Richard,
Excellent! Congrats. CAREFUL on trading underlying stock through earnings. The implied volatility component of that earnings trade was key. Even if the stock drops slightly post-earnings, we can still make money on the put spread but you’ll lose money on the stock.
Congrats 🙂
Todd.
I love what you just showed us. I’m relatively new to option trading, only trading long puts and calls. Is it easy to get out of these verticals etc? Been watching J.Kennedy now for about 6 months and have made some good long trades orl gild etc. what does it cost to get your advice and where is a good place to learn the ins and outs of 2 or more leg trades? Will soon be using the Ameritrade platform as you know, I’m sure, they purchased Scottrade my current platform.
Your thoughts
Hey George – very easy to get in and out of 2-leg options trades i.e. spreads. Come in for a trial and watch me trade: https://tradinganalysis.com/subscriptions We charge $177 a month for a full service, hands-on, trading and signal service.

Hello thete
Not totally related, but was wondering if extended hours price action should be included in elliott wave analysis or not. Sometimes I notice it makes a difference and sometimes not. Doesnt show on most standard charts. Thanks.
Hi Jay,
I think for 24 hour futures data, yes, it can be included. But for individual equities, no I don’t find it to be useful. Cryptocurrencies, most definitely 24 hours should be analyzed.
Todd.
Hi Todd,
Is there a chart software you’d recommend for Apple OS? Thx.
Hi Tim,
I use MotiveWave on Mac as well! Check out the MotiveWave offering here. Keep in mind this MotiveWave program is still very much under development so expect more information to come: https://tradinganalysis.com/marketplace/
Thanks,
Todd.
Hi,
Elliott waves is my first love in Technical Analysis..Thank you for reminding me again that I forgot my first love.
Hahah – don’t get those wandering eyes again.
Hello Todd
Good call on intc, I saw exactly the same expanded flat in intc but failed to take the trade. Are there any specific resources you could recommend to learn about options trading? I would like to know about them properly before I consider joining.

Hi Todd,
How do we know that the 1st 3 down on the correction wasn’t a five? To me it looks like a 5 down aswell as a 3.
