Consider this option. I wear these and it’s super nice to not have to wear anything in the day. It does have it’s cons though. isn’t as comfortable as soft lenses but you wear them while you sleep so don’t really notice it much.
Orthokeratology (ortho-k) is the fitting of specially designed gas permeable contact lenses that you wear overnight. While you are asleep, the lenses gently reshape the front surface of your eye (cornea) so you can see clearly the following day after you remove the lenses when you wake up.
Holy cow, Alan. I’ve never heard of such a thing. I will definitely look into it. I wonder though is the cost of the customization required to get the size that reshapes your cornea worth it compared to just getting the surgery being done with it? Thanks for the input.
