In this year-end review we analyze the 2024 market performance using Relative Rotation Graphs (RRGs), highlighting key turning points in sectors and stocks. Bitcoin led with a 130% gain, while the SPX gained 23.3%, experiencing several corrections. XLC (Communications) and XLF (Financials) significantly outperformed, along with XLY (Consumer Discretionary). Gold also performed well but ended the year looking to underperform the SPX heading into the new trading year. Current sector leadership rests with XLY, XLC, and XLF, while others mostly lag. The XLK has been reluctant to move into a Leading condition but shows potential for moving towards the Leading Quadrant.
