Hi Team,
Apologies for not putting out a video today. I did spend a rather late night in NYC after the CNBC stock draft with my buddy JC Parets and few industry friends blowing off some steam. Unfortunately neither of our earnings trades played out so you can let them expire. I’m watching these index triangles in amazement to see how tight they have become…..
and when they finally will give. I have my suspicions that the lows may be in and it’s time to go to work on the long side. Most notably the RUT shows the best relative strength and the uptrend may be about to resume. For now, just watching, but can’t wait for the consolidation to end. I’ll be working on a game plan and vehicles to ride out of these wave 4 triangles.
If you didn’t catch any of the CNBC Stock Draft, it was a great event. We came away with Bitcoin, NVDA, and NFLX. Barring a buyout in one of the smaller stocks, I like our chances. CNBC put on the event in their typical first-class style and my two “non-industry” friends on my team were blown away by the behind the scenes operations. Sam Jones – aka Flash Gordon – was an absolute blast to hang out with and just a total gentleman. I do think he got the most pictures of any of the celebrities there – well maybe behind Mr Wonderful. I must tell you one of the funniest parts of the day was in the green room when the Stevens College kids realized who he was “WAIT – YOU WERE IN THE MOVIE TED!!!!” They all went crazy. It was a riot.
So again, thanks for letting me have a day here. A lot of planning went into that event and I’m just taking a lazy morning to reflect and relax for the first time in…umm…a long time.
