I received the spy trade alert two minutes after the close. Do I close at the open tomorrow?

Todd Thanks , made thousands of dollars today. Closed and booked 90% of positions. Probably close remaining tomorrow. Start fresh and enjoy weekend. Thanks for your guidance through these markets.

Nice trade Todd. I got shaken out on SPX whipsaw after fed meeting. Looked like SPX broke above resistance then reversed. Dumped the shorts at the exact top for max loss. lol All on me. Your piece about us pulling the trigger is spot on.

I really like the “play by play” text updates through the day during potential “capitulation” or “frenzy” events with potential to change the course of a current hold. They’re very helpful in staying the course.

Like Victor, text updates to me in Canada are really lagging (10-20mins). Something web-based (FB group), would likely be more globally instant. Sorry for length, sharing in case others are in similar shoes. 🙂

Todd, I made some good money following the SPX short trades, thanks for the guidance. One question, as a rule of thumb for SPX, I’m usually single lots, so when you recommend exiting 1/2 or 1/3 position I usually just close the position (at a profit). So the question is for those with single lot trades, when you advise cutting 1/2 exposure, should I interpet that to close the position or hang on? I imagine it is an individual call based on their degree of risk aversion or capital, but wanted to get your take.

    Thanks in advance.

In alert list, open contract size is 1 on 2018-03-19. It makes me confused about your position size.

The default size is always one as I can’t tell you how large to trade. Each person’s account size and risk tolerance must be decided on their own. Thanks. Todd

Can we read anything in to the stocks rebounding the most (strongest) on Friday? How can we use this to our trading advantage for the B-wave rally and/or prep for the forecasted C wave decline?

      Hey Terry,

Great question! I answered this in the video for Monday the 26th. I think it’s probably best to focus on the short side for now as most stocks are falling in line with the indexes. Are you seeing an stocks with good setups showing relative strength?

RIGHT ON, DMITRI! Did you get make more on Friday?

I was confused by your text on Friday morning, saying “if you didn’t close 2/3 of your position, do it now” and closed 2/3 of my remaining position on Friday morning. Apparently you meant it for those people who didn’t follow you exactly on Thursday. So I only made 1000 instead of 3000 on Friday. Please try to make your alerts a bit more clear.

    Todd,
By the time I got in the new SPY trade it was already at 1.10. What is your thoughts on adjusting my limits and in chasing the price? Also, what Tier for this trade?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

      Kevin,

13 cents on a $5.00 spread. It’s really insignificant. With movement like this in this market – don’t overthink it.

      Todd.

        Todd,
Thank you for the quick reply. I was starting to think the same and ended up getting it for $1.05. First of your trades I have gotten in and am looking forward to more.

        Thank you again,

    Hi Todd,

Why do you trade SPY and not SPX? As you said yourself SPX has 10 times lower fees.
